Airwise Adds UAS Sentry as Another Remote ID Partner for Its Airspace Platform
A New Detection Layer for Airwise
Airwise Solutions is widening the sensor lineup behind its Nexus airspace platform by bringing UAS Sentry's Nexus Remote ID detection system into the fold. The arrangement is meant to give organizations one combined view: their own drone operations alongside any Remote ID-broadcasting aircraft flying in or near the areas they care about.
What UAS Sentry Brings
UAS Sentry's Nexus is a modular detection setup that can run from as few as three to as many as 18 antennas, each processed independently over a single LAN or LTE link. Its feature set covers detection, identification, geofencing, alerts, classification, historical identification, and analytics, plus an API for feeding third-party command-and-control, situational-awareness, and mapping tools.
Building Out the Airspace Picture
This is not Airwise's first Remote ID tie-up; an earlier collaboration with Dronetag added data from Scout and RIDER receivers. Alongside telemetry, radar, ADS-B, weather, FAA services, and UTM operational intent, the platform's aim is to link what is detected with what a mission is actually doing, so operators can judge how a nearby drone relates to their own activity rather than simply noting its presence.
Who It Serves and Why It Scales
The target audience includes critical infrastructure operators, utilities, energy companies, public-safety agencies, airports, and industrial sites. UAS Sentry notes that its software and firmware are developed in the US with domestic final assembly. Because the design is modular and API-driven, customers can expand coverage as their needs change, a flexibility that should prove valuable as low-altitude airspace grows busier.
