Partnership Overview

Airwise Solutions and UAS Sentry are joining forces to sharpen low-altitude airspace awareness. Under the arrangement, UAS Sentry Nexus detection technology is being folded into the Airwise Nexus platform, so that Remote ID signals picked up from nearby aircraft appear alongside an organization's own drone activity. The target users are operators of critical infrastructure, utilities, airports, industrial campuses and public safety agencies that need to keep tabs on drones flying close to sensitive sites.

Context That Turns Signals Into Decisions

UAS Sentry Nexus spots and identifies drones that broadcast Remote ID, which can expose an aircraft's position and, depending on the broadcast type, details about its control station. Airwise supplies the missing context by matching those detections against approved missions, planned flights and known fleet activity. According to Airwise Chief Revenue Officer John Powers, that comparison helps teams tell sanctioned operations apart from aircraft that deserve a closer look.

Flexible Coverage and Open Interfaces

A single UAS Sentry Nexus deployment can run anywhere from three to 18 independently processed antennas over one LAN or LTE link, scaling from a single facility to a multi-site detection network. The system bundles geofencing, alerts, aircraft classification, analytics and historical reporting, and it exposes an open API for third-party command, control, mapping and situational awareness tools. UAS Sentry develops its software and firmware in the United States and carries out final assembly domestically.

What the Integration Can and Cannot Do

The combined capability only applies to drones that transmit Remote ID, so it will not catch every aircraft in the sky. Even with that caveat, it gives organizations one more information stream for watching low-altitude traffic and managing their own drone operations. The tie-up fits a wider industry trend of pulling detection data together with airspace management, UTM and enterprise drone operations into a single operational picture.
