We’ve barely even collected ourselves from the videos produced by Sora, and now we have to get used to Devin!

For those unsure about who Devin is: Devin’s not your new pal, if codewriting is earning your bread money.

AI have been terrible (with some slight exceptions) at writing code. Until now, that is. Devin is almost 10x as effective as his predecessor, still in his choldhood. At slightly less than 14% resolve rate according to the widely accepted SWE-Bench benchmark Devin might barely beat a few interns currently.

The real problem, however, is Devin’s exponential learning curve making it probable he’ll outpace pretty much everyone learning to code today.
