I ran into an X post from the aptly named user "Shitty Future" who posted a seemingly (but unverified) real 2FA request for the Lotus SmartToilet. The user was trying to flush his/her toilet but ran into issues when verifying the account.

While hilarious and possibly not even real, this is actually the daily life of millions of people in the digital world. Perhaps not when using the toilet, but 2FA systems are making their way into every nook and cranny of our appliances we use in our homes and everywhere else. Should you actually lose your phone, where most of the 2FA is connected to, you're going to have a bad time.

Will we actually get to the point that we need to authorize our flush via 2FA text messages after we've used the toilet?
